In amodel you should draw a square and right 8 ft on both sides width and length and after that right P=32 that means perimeter is 32 because again8*4 is 32 formula: L+W*2

picture the wrapping paper as being a square with each side 8 feet long

perimeter is adding the lengths of all the sides.
a square has 4 sides
so perimeter = 8 + 8 + 8 + 8 = 32 feet
