Question: What theory explains the formation and movement of the outer surface of the Earth?

It can't be A. the theory of atmospheric layers, as that involves the atmosphere and not the surface

It can't be B. The theory of natural selection as because that involves evolution, etc

And it can't be C. Theory of Glacier movement because glaciers aren't everywhere on Earth

So the answer must be D.
the theory of plate tectonics
