The weight force on an object in a gravitational field is given by
F = mg where
m is the mass in kg and
g is the acceleration due to gravity at that place. Rearranging:

g = (F)/(m) = (266.1)/(30) = 8.87 Nkg^&-1 or
8.87ms^&-2
Explanation: Venus is only slightly smaller than Earth, in both mass and radius, so this answer makes sense, when compared with the value of
9.81 Nkg^&-1at Earth's surface.
