Find the distance between A(0, 1) and B(–4, 6) to the nearest tenth.

you have to use distance formula witch is square root of y1,y2 and x1,x2 squared. after you use the formula you should get 6.4 as your answer
d=6.4

Distance of two points can be calculaetd using formula:

d= \sqrt{ ( x_(2)- x_(1) )^(2)+ ( y_(2)- y_(1) )^(2) }
Here x1 and y1 are coordinates of point A and x2 and y2 are coordinates of point B.

Now we insert numbers into formula:

d= \sqrt{ (-4- 0)^(2)+( 6- 1 )^(2) } = √(16+25) = √(41) =6.4
