We have the following rule of three for this problem:
1 cubic centimeter ----> 1 milliliter
3.5 cubic centimeters ----> x
Clearing x we have:
x = (3.5 / 1) * (1)
x = 3.5 mililiters
Answer:
it was 3.5 mililiters.
