What can you do to make it easier to comprehend what you're reading??

1)big words can sometimes just be a whole lot of little words with big ideas:Don't be afraid to look things up and note what they mean.

2) substitue the word/s: when you see that word it idea that really confuses you, research it until it becomes familiar.

3)relating back:Always bring it back to you. English is all about relating so bring what you're reading into context by relating to yourself or society using how you feel,why

4)BS: if all in all it doesn't make sense bs it. English is also about creativity and being able to interpret ideas perceptively. But this really just means that everything is up for negotiation. You can make stuff up but always have the evidence to back it up ❤️

Focus on each word in the sentence until you come to the word or phrase thats stumbling you. Don't be afraid to ask someone to explain it. You can also try using something like a sheet of paper to place under the sentence you are reading. Don't move the paper lower until you understand the sentence your on.
