-6x + 6y = 6
-6x + 3y = -12

✨ You need to eliminate a variable, so I'll use -1 to multiply the first equation by.

6x - 6y = -6
-6x + 3y = -12

-3y = -18

✨ y = 6

6x - 36 = -6

6x = 30

✨ x = 5

✨ The solution is (5,6) ✨

You would multiply the bottom equation by -1 to make -6x a positive so you can eliminate it.
-6x + 6y = 6
6x + -3y = 12
Eliminate -6y and add 6y to -3y as well as 6 and 12.
0 + 3y = 18
3y = 18
divide both sides by 3
y = 6

now that you know the value of y it will be easy to find x :)
