Ophelia's character is a subject of great debate because of her conflict with Hamlet and her central role in the play. Ophelia was one of the two women in the play. Orphelia is a beautiful young woman with whom Hamlet has been in love. Ophelia is an innocent and young girl, who obeys her father and her brother, Laertes. She is a young noblewoman of Denmark.

Hamlet is a tragedy set in Denmark written by William Shakespeare at an uncertain date between 1599 and 1602.
