Explanation:

line CR and CV are radius of the circle, therefore CR = CV

the length from C to the Mid chord is the same for VI and RA, i.e

CVI = CRA = 4.7 units

the radius CR for chord RA is 6.6 units, gotten using phythagoras theorem

since the radius and 4.7 unit are the same, therefore

the chord length VI = RA = 9.3 units
