According to Bronsted-Lowry theory of acid bases, an acid is a proton (hydrogen ion) donor and a base is a proton (hydrogen ion) acceptor.

A strong acid can readily donate hydrogen ion in aqueous solutions while a weak acid partially ionizes in aqueous solutions, by donating the hydrogen ion.

A strong base can readily accept a hydrogen ion in aqueous solutions while a weak base cannot readily accept a hydrogen ion and so partially ionizes in solution.

So, the correct answer for the question is c) Weak base
