Assuming the choices are:
-7
2+sqrt(3)
4+9i
pi
The correct answer is (4+9i). Complex numbers include an imaginary component, signified by i.

-7 is an integer.
2+sqrt(3) and pi are both irrational numbers, but they are still real numbers (so not usually called complex).
