HSV( Herpes simplex virus) are of two types is: HSV-1, which is oral herpes and causes around the mouth and lips. HSV-2, which is genital herpes and causes around the genital area of the human. on the other hand HIV(Human immunodeficiency virus), which mainly causes the AIDS(Acquired Immuno Deficiency Syndrome) in the humans.

If human having genital herpes can increase the risk of being HIV. Genital can be infected by HIV during intercourse. HSV is caused by a virus called Herpes simplex and HIV is caused by a virus called Retrovirus.
