1. Peninsulares- Spaniards who were born in Spain.
2. Creoles- These were people who were born in the Americas and had Spanish blood.
3. Mestizos and Mulattos- Mestizos were people with one Spanish parent and one American Indian parent and Mulattos were people with one Spanish parent and one African parent.
