Coal mining is dangerous and has detrimental effects on the environment. It has impacts on resources like mountains and streams. We obtain coal by depleting natural resources. Whatever the mining method can be, these methods affect the quality of air, water and land.

By causing disturbances in the landscape due to excessive mining of minerals, there are several impacts like airborne diseases due to particulate matters, and extinction of wildlife species. The depletion of these resources affects the human life as well.

Coal mining can compromised a lot of our resources one of it is the soil. It is because it eliminates the nutrients of the soil that can affect the vegetation, it destroys the wildlife and habitat. Also, it changes permanently the topography of the area mined.
