What are the 2 hormones that are released from the anterior pituitary that influence both the female and male reproductive system?

Follicle-stimulating hormones (FSH):
· In males- stimulates the formation of secondary spermatocytes from primary spermatocytes
· In females- stimulates the growth recruitment of immature ovarian follicles in the ovary

Luteinizing hormones (LH):
· In males- stimulate the Leydig cells to produce testosterone
· In females- stimulates theca cells for estradiol production

Those are only some of the functions of those hormones. Adrenocorticotropic hormones are hormones produced by pituitary glands which also indirectly have an influence on the reproductive system (male and female).
