x ^ 2 + 5x <-4
The first thing we must do in this case is to rewrite the mathematical expression:
x ^ 2 + 5x + 4 <0
We now factor the second degree polynomial:
(x + 1) (x + 4) <0
From here we get:
-4 <x <-1
Answer:
-4 <x <-1
or
(-4,-1)
