Hey there! :D

Remember, two negatives equal a positive. A positive and a negative equal a negative.

-8-(-4)-9

-8 is just -8. Nothing else is really interacting with it.

-(-4) is two negatives. This makes it positive. (+4)

-9 stays the same.

The numbers that go in the blank are:

-8, 4, and -9.

I hope this helps!

You can write it as:
-8 + 4 + -9
Subtracting a negative is the same thing as adding a positive. Hope this helps!
