Find the height of a triangular sail with an area of 24 ft2 and a base of 8 ft.

The formula to find the area of a triangle is base times height divided by two so you just have do the opposite to find out what the height is
So do 24x2/8
24x2=48
48/8=6
The height is 6 feet

Divide 24 by 8 then multiply your answer by two. The height would be 6.
