In triangle attached side BC = 14 ft, AC = 12 ft and angle C = 20°

We have to find the area of the given triangle with the dimensions given above.

Since area of a triangle = 1/2× Base (BC)× Height (AD)

Now we will find the height h with sine rule


sin20=(h)/(12)

h = 12sin20°

h = 12×0.342 = 4.10 ft

Now area of ΔABC = (1/2)×14×4.10 = 7×4.10 = 28.7 ft²

Area of the panel = 28.7 square feet.
