cake made by one baker in 8 hours = 2

cake made by one baker in 1 hour = 2/8 = 1/4

this is the work per hour per worker

as per the question,

total number of hours = 40

total number of workers = 3

Now, cake made by one baker in 1 hour = 1/4

cake made by one baker in 40 hours = (1/4)*40 = 10

cake made by 3 bakers in 40 hours = 3* 10 = 30

so , total cakes made = 30
