Equivalent fractions are just what they sound like: fractions that are equivalent; or equal. For example, 3/4 is equal to 6/8 (because 3/4 * 2/2 = 6/8. Since 2/2 is equal to 1, the value of 3/4 remains the same).

Hope this helps! Have a great day! :)

Equivalent fractions are just two fractions that are equal.

Example:
1/2 and 2/4 are equivalent fractions because they are both equal to 0.5.
