1023*9/11=837 is number of guppies

when angers fish were sold out total fish became equal 837*31/27= 961

total fish before - total fish at the end = 1023-961= 62 angers fish were sold

Total number of fish = 1023

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Find total guppies:
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

(9)/(11) * 1023 = 837

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
After some anglefish were sold:
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

\text {Fraction of the fish that are guppies = } (27)/(31)

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Find total number of fish:
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

(27)/(31) \text {of the fish} = 837

\text {Total number of the fish} = 837 / (27)/(31)

\text {Total number of the fish} = 837 * (31)/(27)

\text {Total number of the fish} = 961

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Find the number of angelfish sold:
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

\text {Angelfish sold =} 1023 - 961 = 62

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Answer: 62 Angelfish were sold.
