Cleaning up an oil spill is a difficult task. In the past, efforts to clean up oil spills have included which methos?

1. Burning: Where you literally burn the oil, to remove it. (Note this can cause pollution)

2. Mechanical methods: Uses skimmers and booms which suck/scoop up the oil.

3. Chemical methods: Releases chemicals that slowly eat away the oil, or cancel it out.

4. Biological methods: releases nutrients, enzymes, and etc. that speeds up biodegradation of the oil.

5. Natural methods: Letting it naturally go away. (cheapest method but takes the longest)
