Hello there!

I hope You are having a good day!

I would love to help you!

Your question states: Simplify the follow expression: 2x^2 - 5y + 3x + 8y - 15x.

We must add like bases.

-5y + 8y = 3y

Now we have 2x^2 + 3y + 3x - 15x

Now let's work with the x's

3x - 15x = -12x

Now we have 2x^2 + 3y - 12x

Your answer is 2x^2 + 3y - 12x

Hope I helped!

Let me know if you need anything else!

Hi there!

To simplify 2x² - 5y + 3x + 8y - 15x , you would have to add like terms, like adding x's together and y's together.

add 3x and -15x.
3x + (-15x)
3x - 15x
-12x

add -5y and 8y
-5y + 8y
3y

So your final answer is
2x² - 12x + 3y.

Hope this helped!! :>
