Why did early americans write the constitution and bill of rights

they wrote a bill of writes because some people didn’t think their rights were going to be protected (anti federalist) so they came up with a bill of writes

To unite the states, to guarantee basic rights for citizens, and to replace the Articles of Confederation,  for the Constitution, and to state what the Englishmen wanted for the Bill of Rights. Plus, Anti-Feds felt the Bill of Rights needed to be signed to safeguard individual liberties. Hope I helped!
