We have this rule:

Two circles are congruent if they have same radii.

Now if two circles have radii as x and y, then their area will be,

Area(1) = \pi x^(2)

Area(2) = \pi y^(2)

Since radius is same so we have x=y

Area(1) = \pi x^(2)

Area(2) = \pi x^(2)

So the two areas will be equal.

Answer: If two circles are congruent then they will have the same area.

First option is correct.
