P=(-2,1)=(xp,yp)→xp=-2, yp=1
Q=(4,4)=(xq,yq)=xq=4, yq=4
Slope of the line segment PQ: m=?
m=(yq-yp) / (xq-xp)
m=(4-1) / [4-(-2)]
m=3 / (4+2)
m=3 / 6
m=1/2
Answer:
The slope of the line segment PQ is 1/2
