Part A: 1/3 / 4 = 1/12. Each person gets 1/12 pound of beef.

Part B: 1/2 / 4 = 1/8. Each person gets 1/8 pound of shrimp.

Part C: 3 / 4 = 3/4. Each person gets 3/4 pound of pasta.

Part D: If we're talking about pasta, then Evan ate 3/8 pound of pasta. Half of 3/4 (the amount of pasta given to everyone) is 3/8, so if Evan ate 1/2 of his share (3/4), he ate 3/8 pounds of pasta.
