to find roots of a polynomial, you have to find numbers that when you multiply will equal 5 (because 5*1) and add to -5. since the only factors of 5 are 1 & 5, they do not equal -5. you will have to use the quadratic formula to find the roots. if you want decimals, they are 0.723607 & 0.276393
