Bryan bought cupcakes for his sister's birthday party. 15 cupcakes had sprinkles on top. The other 35 cupcakes did not have sprinkles. What percentage of the cupcakes had sprinkles?

Explanation:

Given: Cupcakes have sprinkles = 15

Cupcakes didn't have sprinkles = 35

Total cupcakes = 15+35 = 50

The percentage of the cupcakes had sprinkles =

=(15)/(50)*100\\\\= 30\%
