How do you solve 9x+y=37

it depends on what variabe you're solving for.

but if you are solving for y you would put y on a side by itself so subtract 9x on both sides then you get y=9x+37.

then if you are solving for x you subtract y on both sides so you get 9x=-y+37 then divide 9 on both sides then you get x=-1/9+37/9.
