Andrew can paint the neighbors house 6 times as fast as Bailey. the year Andrew and bailey worked together, it took them 5 days. how long would it take each to paint the house ?

Let Andrew be A and let Bailey be B
Andrew is 6 times as quick as Bailey

1a = 6b
When they worked together, it took them 5 days to paint the house.

6b + 1b = 7b \\ 7b = 5days
If Bailey worked alone, she would take a much longer time

5 * 7 = 35days
Since Andrew is 6 times as quick as Bailey,

((5 * 7))/(6) = 5.8days
Andrew would take about 5.8 days while Bailey would take 35 days.
