The vertices of triangle FGH are f(-2,1) G(1,3) and H((0,5) what are f'G'h' for a reflection over the y-axis? A.F'(-2,-1) G'(-1,-3) H(0,-5) B. F'(2,1) G(-1,3) H(0,5) C. F'(2,-1) G'(1,3) H'(0,-5) D'(-2,1) G'(1,3) H'(0,5)

Given:

The vertices of triangle FGH are F(-2,1), G(1,3) and H(0,5).

To find:

The vertices of F'G'H' for a reflection over the y-axis.

Solution:

If a figure is reflected over the y-axis, then

(x,y)\to (-x,y)

Using this rule of reflection, we get

F(-2,1)\to F'(-(-2),1)

F(-2,1)\to F'(2,1)

Similarly,

G(1,3)\to G'(-1,3)

H(0,5)\to H'(0,5)

The vertices of F'G'H' are F'(2,1),G'(-1,3), H'(0,5). Therefore, the correct option is B.
