Piaget was the first one of those who study psychological theories to make a deliberate investigation of youngsters' psychological improvement. Cognitive Development is Jean Piaget's hypothesis. Through a progression of stages, Piaget proposed four phases of psychological improvement:

1) the sensorimotor

2) preoperational

3) concrete operational

4) formal operational period.
