Use Pythagorean Theorem
a^2 + b^2= c^2 to find hypotenuse

a= 14 in
b= 22 in
c= unknown hypotenuse

a^2 + b^2= c^2
(14)^2 + (22)^2= c^2
196 + 484= c^2
680= c^2
take square root of 680
26.0768= c
round to nearest tenth
26.1 in= c

ANSWER: the hypotenuse is 26.1 (rounded to nearest tenth)

Hope this helps! :)
