((x_1+x_2)/(2),(y_1+y_2)/(2))

Then using our endpoints:

(-2,0) we have

y_1=5,\,\,y_2=0. Now using that values in the expression of midpoint:


((x_1+x_2)/(2),(y_1+y_2)/(2))=((3+(-2))/(2),(5+0)/(2))=((3-2)/(2),(5)/(2))=((1)/(2),(5)/(2))

Then the answer is:
