What techniques did the US government employ when producing informative material about nuclear warfare for the general public?

(Select all that apply.)
1.) Simple graphics depicting atoms, radiation warning symbols, and mushroom clouds were the visual shorthand for difficult concepts.
2.) Stark, stylized artwork conveyed the serious nature of nuclear war without the disturbing distraction of realistic images.
3.) Realistic photos used instead of artwork gave US publications a look that was unlike the stylized designs of Soviet material.
4.) Cartoonish figures and illustrations helped lighten the mood and make the necessary instructions much more memorable.
5.) Interactive design elements engaged the reader by providing a decoder ring and printing the emergency instructions in code.

2 and 4 are MY answers... I didn't post this question because I'm 100% sure about that though, hehe...
