This equals 180.
1 and 3 are corresponding angles which means they are the same. 1+2=180 therefore 2+3= 180

From the figure we can observe that:

VS and UT lines are parallel to each other.

line ST is the transversal intersecting lines VS and UT making angles 2 and 3.

Here angles 2 and 3 are interior angles on same side of transversal.

If two lines are parallel and a transversal passes through them, then the pair of interior angles on the same side of transversal are supplementary that is they add up to make 180 degrees.

Applying this property to angles 2 and 3.

∠2 +3 =180°

Answer : 2 + 3 =180, last option is correct.
