Before our town built its new skate park, I had reservations about the project. I believed

the park was too expensive and wouldn't get enough use. I was also displeased that
multiple trees would need to be cut down in order to build it.
Then last week, I stopped by to check out the finished skate park, and wow, was I
amazed! It was full of skateboarders performing such impressive and daring maneuvers
that I had a hard time tearing myself away to return to my bike ride. I now believe that
the park will be a valuable source of entertainment and exercise for our town's skaters
and that it's worth every dollar the town spent on it.
As for the trees, I did notice that the benches around the park were located in full-and
intensely hot-sun. I encourage the town to address this problem by planting new trees
to provide more shade. Spectators should be able to enjoy the park, too.
Which sentence best summarizes the author's point of view about the new skate park?

Answer:

"It was full of skateboarders performing such impressive and daring maneuvers that I had a hard time tearing myself away to return to my bike ride. I now believe that the park will be a valuable source of entertainment and exercise for our town's skaters and that it's worth every dollar the town spent on it."

Step-by-step explanation:

This is by far the longest sentence and one that explains how much the park means to the author. "I had a hard time tearing myself away" explains the emotional connection the author has with the park. "I believe that the park will be a valuable source of entertainment and exercise" is the author trying to prove that the park is useful due to his/her connection to it.
