A=bh divided by 2!!

1. A=1/2(8)(5)
So A equals: 20.

2. A=1/2(9)(7)
So A equals: 31.5.

3. A=1/2(16)(12)
So A equals: 96.

Hope this helps!

Hi there!

We can find the area of a triangle with the formula:

area = 0.5 * base * height

Filling in this formula gives us the following answers.

Triangle 1

area = 0.5 * 5 * 8 = 20

Triangle 2

area = 0.5 * 7 * 9 = 31.5

Triangle 3

area = 0.5 * 16 * 12 = 96
