Answer: The volume will be raised to the 3rd power of whatever the length is scaled by.

When we are scaling a figure, it means we are multiplying the length of it by a scale factor.

Picture a rectangle that is 5 by 7, the area would be 35.
If we scale it by 3, it is now 15 by 21 and the area would be 315.
The length got 3 times larger, but the area got 3^2 times larger because it is in 2 dimensions.

If we were talking about a rectangular prism, the volume would be 3^3 times larger or 27 times larger!

For the cost of the ice cream, we would need to have some actual measurements of the cone.
