5. Evan is picking marbles out of a bag. The results are recorded below. Red 24 Blue 16 Yellow 10 Green 22 8 Black What is the experimental probability of picking a black marble? Write answer as a percent.​

Explanation:

24 R + 16 Blu + 10 Y + 22 G + 8 Bla = 80 total

Then you cant set up a proportion:


(8)/(80) (x)/(100)

In order for 80 to become 100, you must multiply it by 1.25. That means in order to get X, the probability of pulling a black marble, you can multiple 8 x 1.25

8 x 1.25 = 10
