Samantha wants to tile the floor of her bathroom that measures 20 feet long and 9 feet wide. She determines that she will need 1 tile for every 4 foot by 3 foot area. What is the minimum number of tiles that she will need to cover the entire bathroom floor?

Total area of bathroom = 20 × 9 = 180 square feet

Area of one tile = 4 × 3 = 12 square feet

She needs x number of tiles to cover entire bathroom floor:

x = 180 square feet ÷ 12 square feet
x = 15 tiles
