Radio Corporation of America

The RCA Corporation, or Radio Corporation of America, was founded in 1919 as a response to the development of radio. It was initially under the control of General Electric (GE). RCA was the primary communications firm in the United States, that also contributed to the creation of the National Broadcasting Company (NBC).
