Volume = (base x height) /3
= (6^2π x 8) /3
= 113.097335529 ÷ 3
= 37.6991118431
b) For question b, I assume you just need to round the number off to 1 decimal place which is 37.7

Answer: A)
V=301.44\text{ meters}^3

B)
V=301.4\text{ meters}^3

Explanation:

Given: The radius of cone = 6 meters

the height of cone = 8 meters

We know that the volume of cone is given by :-

\text{Volume }=(1)/(3)\pi r^2h

Therefore, the volume of given cone will be :_

\text{Volume }=(1)/(3)*3.14(6)^2(8)\\\\\Rightarrow\text{Volume}=301.44\text{ meters}^3

The exact value of the volume of the cone:
V=301.44\text{ meters}^3

Also,
301.44\approx301.4\text{ meters}^3

Thus, the approximate value of the volume of the cone to the nearest tenth:

V=
301.4\text{ meters}^3
