Divide the price of the bag by the number of ounces in the bag
BAG 1
$1.99 ÷ 10 ounces= $0.199 per ounce
BAG 2
$2.99 ÷ 18 ounces= $0.166 per ounce
ANSWER: The $2.99 bag is a better buy per ounce at $0.166 per ounce.
Hope this helps! :)
