x - 5 ( x - 1 ) = x - ( 2x - 3 )

x =
(2)/(3)

Explanation:

x - 5 ( x - 1 ) = x - ( 2x - 3 )


x -5(x-1 )= x+[-1(2x-3)]

Expand them.


x-5x+5=x+[-2x+3 ]


x-5x+5=x-2x+3

Group Like terms :


-4x+5=-x+3

Make X the subject : ( Move terms )


-4x+x=-5+3


-3x=-2


(-3x)/(-3) =(-2)/(-3)


x=(2)/(3)

And the answer would be
x=(2)/(3).

Answer: x = 2/3

Explanation:

x - 5x + 5 = x - 2x + 3

-4x + 5 = -x + 3

-3x = -2

x = 2/3
