In this example, the treatment room was the conditioned stimulus.

A conditioned stimulus (CS) is a previously neutral stimulus, that when repeatedly followed by an unconditioned stimulus (UCS), elicits the same response as the UCS. In this example, the CS is the treatment room, because this CS by itself elicits a response of nausea in Mina.
