Tomas is buying a 2-cup container of liquid dish soap.

In general one cup contain 8 fluid ounces.

So we can apply unitary method here to find how many ounces are present in a 2 cup container.

Quantity of liquid dish soap in one cup = 8 ounces.

Quantity of liquid dish soap in two cups = 8*2 =16 ounces.

Answer : Tomas is buying 16 ounces of liquid dish soap in a two cup container.
