D. There is a 5/8 chance each time. You would multiply that together to get the answer seen in D.

Total number of shirts = 5+3 =8

Number of short sleeve shirts =5

Probability of choosing two shirts which has short sleeves out of 5 short sleeves shirts= 5C2

Probability of choosing two shirts which has short sleeves out of 8 shirts = 8C2

Now we have to find probability of choosing 2 short sleeves shirts.

The formula to be used is 5C2/8C2 , so answer would be 5/14.

Answer : The probability of choosing two short sleeve shirts without looking is 5/14. So correct option is option c. 5/14
